Bon voyage mes amis….

Rosemary and lemon melting moments

There has been a lot happening in our world over the last month.

We have moved. Not just house but country!

We are now back home in the land of the long white cloud, New Zealand. We have loved making our darling Sydney home. It’s golden beaches, gumtrees, glistening harbour and gorgeous friends have made a warm, cosy place in our hearts. But like leaving a party at its height, it was time for us to start a new chapter in life, eating and savouring the best of New Zealand food and design.

The move was busy and hectic so on arrival we needed some R&R! What better way to fill our quiet time than in the kitchen making some lovely treats to share with our family. We now have an abundance of homegrown offerings from tangelos to lemons, rosemary to lavender. So I have been busy making rosemary and lemon melting moments. I am a sucker for high tea and these delectable treats are a perfect afternoon delight with a cup of jasmine tea.

This is the first of many of my forays into the New Zealand wonderland of food. I would love you to join me as I rediscover childhood favourites and new and unique offerings from the wild and woolly countryside that I once again can call home.

Enjoy, savour and devour!
